Aanni and Connor got married back in February in the Salt Lake City LDS temple and then had their reception
at the Grand America hotel. It was an incredibly beautiful wedding. Aanni and I have been friends
since we were in Kindergarten so it was so fun to be able to attend her wedding. This was also the first wedding
I have ever shot. It was pretty intimidating, knowing that I had been given the huge task of documenting the
biggest day in this couple's life, but it turned out to be a fun learning experience. Hopefully
there will be more to come in the future!

Brittany,

Growing up I always thought you were such a strong, beautiful person and I’m happy to report that thought hasn’t changed at all. I left the church for good almost four years ago, and it’s definitely one of the most difficult things I have ever done. The social intensity of Mormon culture just mandates that relationships with friends and family change and it can be really frustrating and sad, but I try to remember their point of view as I held it not very long ago myself. I wish there was more mutual understanding and respect from the other side, but you just have to be brave and develop yourself and know things will someday feel settled and happy again. I think you are amazing.

aaaand you take good pictures. :)
